Make You Well Center provides personal care of patients individually, in the context of the family and the community. Our providers strive to treat each patient appropriately based on their healthcare concerns. We offer Urgent Care services, as well as Primary Care services in order to treat the whole patient, and provide unprecedented access to a healthcare provider at any time.
Primary care refers to the initial point of contact for individuals seeking healthcare services. It is a broad field of medical care that focuses on providing comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated healthcare to patients of all ages, genders, and health conditions.
Primary care providers, such as family physicians, general practitioners, internists, pediatricians, and nurse practitioners, serve as the primary point of entry into the healthcare system. They are often the first healthcare professionals individuals consult when they have a health concern or need routine medical care.
At Make You Well in Colleyville, TX, we specialize in a variety of approaches to health and wellness.
Primary care providers emphasize preventive measures to promote overall health and well-being. This includes routine screenings, vaccinations, health education, and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
Primary care providers offer guidance and support to individuals in managing their health and chronic conditions. They help patients develop personalized healthcare plans, manage medications, and address lifestyle factors that impact health.
Primary care providers evaluate and diagnose a wide range of health conditions and provide appropriate treatment. They manage common illnesses, injuries, infections, and chronic diseases. If necessary, they may refer patients to specialists for further evaluation or specialized care.
Primary care providers play a crucial role in coordinating and managing a patient’s overall healthcare. They collaborate with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication, continuity of care, and appropriate referrals when needed.
Primary care focuses on establishing a long-term relationship between the healthcare provider and the patient. This relationship allows the provider to gain a deep understanding of the patient’s medical history, preferences, and values, leading to personalized and patient-centered care.
Primary care serves as the foundation of the healthcare system, promoting health maintenance, disease prevention, and early intervention. It acts as a gateway to other healthcare services and helps individuals navigate the complex healthcare landscape by providing comprehensive and continuous care over time.
